Care
I passionately care about the mental health of musicians and the community of people who love and support the work of artists. I hope to support the discussions and good work being done around Australia and the world to get this issue talked about more broadly.
Mental health is a positive concept related to the social and emotional wellbeing of individuals and communities. Whilst it is culturally defined, mental health generally refers to:
- Enjoyment of life
- Resilience - the ability to cope with stress and sadness
- Fulfillment of goals and potential
- Sense of connection to others
We all have mental health - there are things that put our mental health at-risk, but there are also a whole range of things that we can do to enhance our mental health.
One of the ways we can do this is by talking about good mental health and mental health problems in an open and non-judgemental way. We can all help to reduce the stigma that so often surrounds this issue.
Below you will find a range of links and other information on a range of mental health topics…..thank you for helping me to keep the conversation alive and going…..
