New management and arts health advocacy

This week I’m proud to officially announce that I am joining forces with Emerald Violin Arts Health Management, to further explore and enhance my passion for and commitment to the improvement of community mental health through the arts. My new music manager is Emerald Violin founder and my very good friend, Emma Cother.

It’s all rather timely, given that my song “Heart-Shaped Space” has recently been synced with a new television campaign promoting a national program called Partners in Depression, which aims to support those who care for or love someone with depression. You can find out more about it here –

This week I have also been performing and presenting at the 3rd Annual International Arts and Health Conference in Canberra.

I’ve started a new page on my website called “CARE“, which outlines my interests in this area and provides some great links to information and programs related to mental health (particularly that of young people and also that of fellow musicians).

Enjoy… av
